Wood Pile Rotting
Leaving wood to rot and decay allows nature to do what it is always so eager to do – use everything that can deteriorate and then make it into something else. We pass by rotting wood every day.
We throw it into landfill. We burn it and we generally don’t like it hanging around, or rather, lying around. Attracting all kinds of miniature worlds of living and extraordinary organisms it will provide everything that plants need to grow in.
This shows what eighteen months can do in completely a world of its own (in my organic garden).
