Autumn Gully in Flood
Cleansing and calming nature . . . . but the gully took and ejected 1000 litres of heating oil in March 2021. Now it is doing everything it should do – channelling street water through drains into my gully before rushing it out into the ditch below and then into the nearby river. Three years later in autumn 2024 the gully continues to take remnants of this oil spill into the ditch and then further into the river. But it is cleansing.
