Bombus Lucorum – Bumbling and Bombing

These Bumble Bees started bombing me when videoing them.  I was sitting too close to their nest and interfered with their normal flight paths.  The big guys were called in and they certainly did make their presence felt! These native Bumble Bees are so important to all wildlife because they can ‘buzz’ pollinate, which means they don’t have to enter the flower, they simply just ‘buzz’ by.  Enjoy our Bombus Lucorum they are such great characters. Recorded Sept 2024

Sadly, this year there have been very few, if any Bumble Bees about – Oct 2025
