Chapter 5 – Ditch 2025
It is now five years since the 1000 litres of kerosene from a neighbour’s heating oil tank gushed down my gulley and into the ditch below. The previous years videos describe the story. I feel duty-bound to continue to record the way that nature is managing the heavy deposits of oil over the years. Although it is heart-breaking still to see the oil in the ground we may take comfort from how plants are actually surviving it (perhaps even flourishing) and these records may provide some indication of how nature can clean up our awful pollutions.
