Elsa’s Year

Here’s a great shout for Elsa’s Mum who has patiently taken photos of habitats with her daughter Elsa during the last year October 2021 to October 2022 (all in Children Say).

Well done Mum, for taking an interest with Elsa on what is around you in the natural world.

You have shown that taking a few minutes of observation with Elsa has provided yourselves and the rest of us who see it a renewed involvement in nature and giving what you have seen some respect and acknowledgment.

Studying habitats is not a quick and easy fix. It is a long-term dedication to realising that nature provides so much and will behave in its own way if we leave it alone.

Taking records of what we see, as you and Elsa have done, will now help you observe even more intensely how those little habitats will change as time goes by. How good is that?
