Raife and Darlik Lovers of Nature
West Gate’s Teaching Assistant JWG has made sure that the students have been fully involved in the planting and care of their Silver Birch Saplings since she first said she had an ideal position for them in the school ground a year ago.
JWG knew how much the students would enjoy planting the saplings and then tending them. The result after a year of remembering, caring and involving students has resulted in the trees wanting to live with you.
What a difference for Raife and Darlik who have always made sure their tree and the daffodils are snug and happy in the ground. I know JWG has also learnt a great deal about how to go about looking after trees, so thoroughly excellent to all of you!
